What Is BPM?

Business Process Management (BPM) can be described as a process optimization process and a discipline involving combination of modeling, automation, execution, control, measurement and optimization of business activity flows. It is a system approach to making an organization’s workflow more effective, more efficient and more capable of adapting to an ever-changing environment. A business process is an activity or set of activities that will accomplish a specific organizational goal. BPM is meant to implement processes in support of enterprise goals, spanning systems, employees, customers and partners within and beyond the enterprise boundaries.
